3.0 This website collects and uses personal information for the following reasons:
3.1 Site visitation tracking
Like most websites, this site uses Google Analytics (GA) to track user interaction.
This data is used to determine the number of people visiting and using our site. This helps us to better understand how people are finding and using our website and to track their journey through the website.
Although GA records data such as your approximate geographical location, device, internet browser and operating system, none of your information is personally identifiable to us.
GA also records your computer’s IP address but Google do not grant access to this. We consider Google to be a third party data processor.
Disabling cookies on your internet browser will stop GA from tracking any part of your visit to pages within this website.
3.2 Contact forms and subscriptions
Should you choose to contact us or subscribe to our mailing list, the email that you submit will be stored in the database of our Wix website platform, which we will use to contact you. We consider Wix to be a third party data processor (see section 5.2 below). The details that you submit will be stored within this website’s own database but not in any of our internal computer systems.
Your details will remain within the Wix database on our website for as long as we continue to use the Wix platform or until you specifically request removal from the list. While your email address remains within the Wix database, you will receive occasional marketing emails from us.
You can do this by unsubscribing using the unsubscribe links contained in any email newsletters that we send you or by requesting removal via email. When requesting removal via email, please send your email to us using the contact us form.
4.0 How we store your personal information
If you have made a purchase from this website, or set up an account, then your details (not including any financial details) are stored in our Wix database in order that we can fulfil your order(s) and also to refer back to your email and/or postal details in order that we may track any orders you have queries on. Any financial information is not stored or used by us as all our transactions are made within the PayPal platform or Wix platform which does not retain any financial information once the transaction has been processed.
These are the only occasions where personal data will be stored on this website.
5.0 Our Third Party Data Processors
We use two third parties to process personal data on our behalf. The third parties we use are PayPal and Wix.
Paypal process payments for any products purchased from our website. Neither us or PayPal retain any financial information you may submit as part of the purchasing process. PayPal monitor every transaction, 24/7 to prevent fraud, email phishing and identity theft. Every transaction is heavily guarded behind PayPal's advanced encryption. If something appears suspicious, their dedicated team of security specialists will identify suspicious activity and help protect you from fraudulent transactions. PayPal, Wix or Little Gold Bee will never ask for any sensitive information.
Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.
All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers
6.0 Data breaches
We will report any unlawful data breaches of this website’s database or the database(s) or any of our third party data processors to all relevant persons and authorities within 72 hours of the breach if it is apparent that personal data stored in an identifiable manner has been stolen.
